The usherette trays are lightweight and come with 2 over the shoulder straps which ensure comfort for staff, and that the sampling stock is kept upright and safely supported by the adjustable straps. Recently Quorn used these during their Summer sampling campaign. A team of 4 were able to man the main event space under the Quorn marquee as well as roaming around the events they attended to reach out to those who didn’t walk near the stand. This meant that the campaign went from one static sampling point, to three points in the location. Roaming samplers were able to direct customers back to the Quorn Marquee, increasing the visibility of the activity, and the total reach of the overall campaign massively.
Food Hygiene And Usherette Trays
In terms of food hygiene, using usherette trays means that samples spend much less time in the hands of sampling staff. Once distributed into the trays, they are waiting in a clean, cool environment until they are handed out to a customer. This is especially helpful at outdoor events on warmer Summer days.
The trays have a smooth outer and are easy to wipe down regularly throughout the day if necessary. The use of the trays allows the sampling staff to work hands-free which means they could even hand out leaflets or important allergen advice with each sample easily.
During Arla’s #takestrength campaign, where they attended a number of 10k’s and marathons throughout the Summer promoting their new Arla Protein pots, usherette trays were used to reach out to the wider area around their static promotion area, taking the samples of Arla Protein to attendees that otherwise wouldn’t have visited the event village to see Arla’s cheer station or tasted a sample. Because the staff using usherette trays had a simple way of holding the samples, they were able to hand out leaflets to increase applicants for Arla’s social media competition that they ran alongside the event at the same time.
In-store Product Sampling
The use of usherette trays in-store gives a professional, clean and well-presented approach to a basic sampling activation. In fact, the use of usherette trays in-store could even banish the need for a traditional sampling stand, like in the case of our Shell Deli 2 Go campaign.
